Alice
Alice is an approximately 4 year old, 8lb Pomeranian coming into rescue as an owner-surrender from a remote Northern Canadian community.
Alice is a bit timid at first; she definitely needs a minute to warm up to you but once she knows you're a safe person, she nuzzles into your hand for head scratches. She a sweet girl and very observant. She loves to perch on pillows and will happily nap after nestling into one.
Alice gets along well with other dogs. She is currently being fostered with another little dog and there have been zero issues. She sleeps in her crate throughout the night and will usually go into it on her own when she wants to decompress. Alice has only had two accidents but has otherwise been successfully using the bathroom outside! She has not been tested with cats or kids.
This little girl is medium to low energy and really just loves to sit next to her person on the couch and relax. She walks great on leash and sticks right next to you when out on her walk. Alice was used to eating human food and table scraps in her previous home, but she's now eating kibble with a meal topper to stimulate her appetite as seems to be doing well with that.
Alice still needs to be spayed and is in the process of getting all her necessary vaccines, but we are accepting applications on her now.
